Salem Community Acupuncture Project will be closing temporarily due to COVID-19.It is with a heavy heart that we are deciding to close our doors temporarily in light of recent developments regarding COVID-19. With the information and guidance coming to us from the state level, as well as the Center for Disease Control and Oregon Health Authority, we are choosing to close temporarily to abate the spread of this novel virus and ensure the safety of our patients and staff. Please check back regularly for updates, and know that we are continuously assessing our options and that we plan to reopen as soon as we can safely do so.Love and Light,Salem Community Acupuncture Project
Nancy Arntson, our dear founder, birthed SCA in 2010 when she saw need for a space in Salem that offered healing, community, support, and peace. In 2015, the small community acupuncture clinic was converted to a non-profit in order to provide accessible services to more members of the Salem Community. Over the years we have evolved into a busy clinic, added more services, and expanded our reach. As we continue to grow and change, our commitment to our vision is steadfast.
Our vision is to grow into a thriving collaborative network of health professionals, educators, and healers who provide compassionate and holistic care to the Salem Community. We do this by offering our services on a sliding-scale fee, by partnering with local organizations, and by subsidizing the cost of treatments for patients who cannot afford our services.
We hope to be a part of your healing journey. If you are new to acupuncture, please visit our Resources page to learn more about Chinese Medicine and Acupuncture.
